Attaining Educational Goals
Through the generous support and passion of our donors, we are able to award scholarships each year to the next generation of leaders shaping our community. Our scholarship programs allow staff to engage with local students during the application process, while community leaders and donors volunteer on the scholarship committees to recommend recipients. Scholarship Spotlight
The Harold and Thelma Hunter Scholarship is an annual scholarship created in memory of Harold Hunter by his wife, Thelma Hunter, and their children to help graduates of Heritage Hills High School pursue advanced education. The scholarship is available for graduating seniors of Heritage Hills High School with a minimum 2.8 grade point average (4.0 scale) planning to pursue post-secondary education at any accredited college, university, or vocational-technical school.
The 2022 recipient of the Harold and Thelma Hunter Scholarship was Michaela Gogel. Michaela is pursuing a degree in Elementary Education at the University of Southern Indiana.
