Women's Fund

Overview
The Women’s Fund of Spencer County is a group of strong, caring, and focused women determined to make a difference in the lives of Spencer County’s residents. In 2007, a group of visionary women started the Women’s Fund as a permanent resource to support local, charitable programs.
Mission
To improve the quality of life in Spencer County by collectively funding significant grants to support local programs that give opportunities, encouragement, knowledge, and hope to the Spencer County community.
Our Endowment
The Women’s Fund Endowment is a permanent resource created to address the changing needs and priorities in our community. By building the Endowment, women philanthropists of today are building a long-term source of support for future needs. Unless otherwise requested by the donor, half of each gift to the Women’s Fund is added to its endowment, with the remaining funds used for immediate grantmaking for current needs in the Spencer County community.
